Self-Signing A Document
Signing a document with your signature and sending it out to recipients is a simple exercise that can be accomplished using the same workflow like that of the request for a third-party signature. The user will go through all 4 of the steps required in Sending Your First Document Out for Signature. In the second step, however, the user will use him/herself as one of the recipients, which can be easily done by clicking the add me button. When it comes to selecting the role for the recipient, the user will appoint him/herself as the only recipient that must sign, while the others will have a role of either fill only, Bcc or Cc. In addition, when preparing the documents, the user will have to specifically add his/her signature and the date. This is done by clicking on the add signature and add date button both located in the sub-menu of the pen tool (see Sign, Date, or Initial a Document ).
