How To Upload Documents
Users can upload documents to our platform either directly or through a third-party cloud service provider. If the user is using a mobile device he/she can select documents that are on their local hard drive or use their camera to take a picture of the document they want to supply. If on a desktop, the user is able to select from any file or drive that is made available. We have several workflows that allow the user to pull in files from third-party cloud providers such as Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, and OneDrive. For each of these providers, the user will be required to authenticate themselves against the details provided to the respective cloud provider before they are able to explore and upload the files they want to get signed.
Our platform accepts the following file types:
- svg image
- png image
- bitmap image
- tiff image
- Excel files
- PowerPoint
- Microsoft Word files
- Open Office presentations
- Open Office spreadsheets
- Open Office Word Files
Most of the files are converted to PDF then encrypted, and then stored in a private vault on our servers. The user can manage these files by going to the Request -> Documents page where they can choose from the options available.
